Sorry I have not had a blog post in about a month. I have been quite busy with life. I am soon to start school, and get ready for the 2010 wedding season. I don’t think I will have much time for HomeMade Bride anymore. This is my last blog post.
I’d like to say thanks to everyone who contributed and especially those who are readers. It was a fun run.
HomeMade Bride.

They are definitely tasty treats. These would be great to serve to your guests, or treats for Bridal Showers or a nice addition to your candy bar. Want to make them? Have the recipe!
SnowBall Lollipops
(Makes about 48)
Prep To Table: 10 Minutes + Chilling Time
Things You’ll Need:
- 3/4 cup Butter
- 3 cups Sugar
- 1 1/4 cup Milk
- 3 cups Large rolled oats
- 1 cup Unsweetened fine coconut
- 3/4 cup Cocoa, sifted
- 48 Lollipop sticks
1. Melt butter in a large saucepan. Stir in sugar and milk. Bring to boil and reduce the temperature slightly to prevent it from boiling over. Once mixture begins to boil it is very important not to stir.
2. Continue to cook for about 10 minutes or until mixture reaches about 230 F on a candy thermometer. You can also test by dropping some of the mixture in cold water. If it forms a soft ball it is ready.
3. While the mixture comes to temperature, mix together the rolled oats coconut and cocoa.
4. add the boiled mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Chill in the bowl for about 40 minutes or until it can be rolled into 1 1/4-inch balls.
5. Roll the balls in coconut to coat. Add lollipop sticks.
Enjoy!!!
Warning………………………………..They are addicting.

Jackie Wonders sent us this fabulous wedding. This wedding was a truly
DIY effort and i loved the simple, effortless style it gave. The couple
chose to hold their ceremony in a park just a mile away from the beach.
3 Large pine trees gave the backdrop of the ceremony such a dramatic feel,
but with an outdoor, simple look. Krysta’s dress is by J crew and she added
a vintagebelt, and each of her bridesmaids carried vintage clutches the
whole night
The recepetion was at a nearby restaurant- Fresco Trattoria
